After Rocko found himself steep in controversy thanks to Rick Ross’ ill-fated verse on his "U.O.E.N.O." single, the Atlanta rap don decided to make multiple remixes with the likes of Wiz Khalifa, 2 Chainz and A$AP Rocky. It was a sound strategy and one that Rocko continues to employ months after the song’s initial release.
On Monday (May 20) R&B superstar Usher decided to drop a verse on Rocko’ fiery hit. "Top down, ridin’ ‘round in a $500,000 car you ain’t even know it/ On the way to the G5, ‘bout to take out my high, she ain’t even know it," Ush sings to start.
By the time the beat drop the "Climax" singer is mixing his melodic R&B lyrics with a definite rap swag bragging about his strip club exploits, expensive drinking habits and his classic LP Confessions. "Wanna send a little message to you, for those who ain’t know it/ ’04 did a mil in a week and I ain’t pay for it/ Got a few new confessions for you, stay tuned for it," he went on, leaving some to speculate as to whether or not he was playing to record a sequel to his most successful album to date.
When Rocko first revealed that he was planning to remix "U.O.E.N.O." Kanye West was rumored to lend a verse, but Rock would neither confirm or deny those reports. "Hey man, you never know who's gonna be on the ['You Don't Even Know'] remix, that's why I called it 'U.O.E.N.O.', cause you don't even know," Rocko teased.
